Description:
Sometimes putting mosaic art on a rock is just putting lipstick and rouge on Mother Nature. Not only can a rock dictate what should go on it, the beauty of the rock itself can challenge you not to deface it by your best effort. This was only my second effort to learn mosaic art, created last July. I discovered the rock alongside I-90, under a small waterfall near the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. Clearly, nature had been depositing color and character long before I came also to add some bling.
Material used:
- rock
- stone
- glass beads
- glass tiles
- dyed sea straw
