This egg is part of a juried art installation at Egg Harbor, Wi celebrating 55 years as a village in Door County. The larger 55 flowers I hot glass sculpted in a glass shop located in the Antique Village on the state fairgrounds in Escanaba, MI and is part of the UP Steam and Gas Engine Association. The background mini flowers and leaves I lampworked in my studio and most of the glass came from Delphi Glass! This egg is one of 30 on display throughout Egg Harbor in a public arts initiative called Eggstravaganza from May 24 through August 17, 2019. All the eggs are 2 feet high and 18 inches wide but almost 5 feet in circumference. I could not even get my arms around it before the glass was installed. Visit Egg Harbor and do an egg hunt!!!!
