Description:
Glass powders are amazing medium to picture soft objects, animal fur and birds feather, morning mist... I work in COE 96 and birds are one of my favorite topics. Here is my recent portrait of a Blue Jay, resting on a branch during a cold winter day. Observant eye can find beauty in everything and at any time, I don't view winter as a monochrome season of the year, instead I look for how it changes looks of familiar observations. With a fresh snow blanket the world suddenly seems softer... My Blue Jay piece is a free standing artwork, 7" wide and 5" high.
Material used:
- COE 96 glass
- COE 96 powders
- reclaimed wood frame
