Strip Construction Bowl

This 14 inch round bowl was made with Oceanside 96 glass. The focal points were made first and placed on papyrus. Using 3/8 inch strips, I framed the focal points and then filled in the rest of the piece arranging the strips in various patterns. After fusing the piece was cut on a tile saw, cold worked and then slumped.
