Fun With Stacks

This 14 inch round strip construction bowl was made with Oceanside 96 glass. The focal points were made from stacked squares and pattern bars. The bowl was made by placing the focal points on papyrus, framing them and then filling in with strips of glass cut 3/8 inches and placed on edge.  After full fusing it was cut on a tile saw, cold worked and then slumped. It has a matte finish.
