I made this window for my sister's kitchen. She redid her kitchen and wanted stained glass on bottom of window for privacy. This is the first time I made my own pattern, inspired by an old Victorian window I found on line. Tom at The Glass Haus in Green Bay, WI taught me how to make a pattern. My sister picked out the glass colors and I suggested styles of glass. My husband installed the window. My sister loves the window. It is beautiful. My best work yet. I still need to make one more for the other kitchen window.
My dad and I took glass classes together and often worked on projects together. I haven't done much since he passed in 2014. I feel his presence when I'm in my glass room. He would be really impressed with this window.
