Awaken

Within a ruby tinted lotus blossom crimson dots add patterns in this oval design. Aegean blue circles form water droplets in the aquamarine blue layer.  Light green dots pattern the lotus leaf between layers of fused glass.  Fine black powdered glass lines define their outlines and shape.  This fused glass artwork contains 3 base layers, glass frits (chips), and powders.  Three kiln firings with varied temperatures were needed to achieve the final surface texture and colors.   15” x 19” x 5/16”
