Just Breathe

Iridescent sheen forms the outer layer of this lotus flower and leaf within the oval design. Purples, crimson, and ruby tint chips combine to form the blossom.  Dark green swirls add patterns between layers of spring green, dark green, and gold green to create the leaf.  Black powdered linework add outlines and inner patterns. Varying chips of light opaque blue, blue, and black combine to a matte surface. This fused glass artwork was created with a fiber reversal method with embossed areas of the lotus and leaf.    15” x 19” x ½”
