This cabochon is from 1 of my series I call "FIRE n ICE"
Of all my styles of dichroic glass cabochons, this series is definately the hardest to make, so often I only make them once or twice every 2 years or so. The materials are hard to get and the process is very time intensive. I have been fusing 3 different coe's - 90 - 96 and 82/84 for over 12 years
Since I am 87% colorblind, many people often tell me what they are seeing and wonder what it is that I see. I have a condition called Synesthesia or otherwise known as the mixing of senses,
So in my case I see sound and hear colors and of course these are known on an intuitive level. It works for me .... as I create feeling frequencies.
I am in the process of setting up my ArtFire gallery where folks can see a lot more of my glass works.
thank you for viewing

I am in awe of your work. This piece is stunning. I have supervised a large program for the deaf and hard of hearing and also at times supervised the program for the visually impaired and deaf blind so I can only imagine the steps you must take to create pieces. I would love to learn your techniques through whatever means you teach. Dianne

Absolutly stunning!!!!!!!!!! I am fusing Dichro and love the work but have to stand in awe of your work. Do you have a "How To" book out ? Or will you be writing one, Please?? I really would like to move to the next level in an effort to progress toward gettting close to what you do. Amazing, I love your work. LW
