Horse in the Wind

My piece was created with all glass. I found an old picture of a horse and Thought it would make a beautiful mosaic It measures 35x35 and is surrounded by rope to give it that "rustic" look. This hangs on the diagonal to give it the movement it needs. The detail is enhanced by the different shades of grout and the texture and subtle shading of the glass. A friend who is qiute a horse- woman stated that her horse looked just like mine when hers stood in the wind. I took that as a great compliment. The base is plywood and Of course the adhesive is Weldbond.
