Quarantine Blues

This 14 inch strip construction bowl was made with Oceanside 96 glass. The focal points were cut from Fusers Reserve glass and were framed with 3/8 inch strips.  Strips were added in different patterns to complete the design. Once fused the piece was cut to the desired size with a tile saw.  A LAP grinder and belt sander were used to complete the cold work and the piece was then slumped in the 16 inch Ball Surface Deep Form Slumping Mold.
