Wonder City (Ciudad Maravilla)

This jewel was done as part of the celebrations, because of the 500th anniversary of our capital city "Havana".
It, somehow, recreates some of the most important buildings of the city, like the capitol, the fortress "El Morro", the wall by sea "The Malecón" and the bronze sculpture known as "The Giraldilla". All these are main icons of Havana, because of their history and majesty.
To do this piece we used bullseye glass sheets, bullseye glass enamels, stainless steel and bronze wires, silver leaves and lampworked beads.
