Faith that moves Mountains

This project started with my minister's wife requesting a scene of the Smokey Mountains in which she was raised.  While on a treasure hunt at Goodwill, I found this beautiful frame with plexiglass in front that said "If I have faith that can move mountains.. But have not love I am nothing."  I thought what better way to display the piece that she had requested.  After removing the original cardboard picture I went about designing a scene of the Great Smokey Mountains.  Notice the rolling blue hills and the light smoke between the hills.  For the sunrise I found the perfect glass that was marbled with yellow, orange and red.  The piece measures 15.5 in by 10.5 in.  I hope that this piece will remind her of her home in Tennessee when she sees it.
