My Advent Tray

Large white distressed wood tray with dark green/teal streaked glass background. Opaque glass was used for Anchor, Star, Dove, and Heart. Edges were smoothed with a mosaic grinder. Mirror pieces used around candle.  Candle stem is  opaque glass snipped by hand. Flame is gold and red mirror glass pieces.  When light hits the tray just right, it looks like the candle is "sort of" flickering. Dark gray ground was used to add drama.
