"Sea Scapes" British Virgin Islands

I created these panels for my friends new kitchen in the British Virgin Islands.  My friend does not have a view of the sea from her kitchen windows so I made one for her.  I cut 843 pieces of glass to create these panels for her with over 170 hours of work to complete and fit them into her hand-made cabinets.  I incorporated mango trees, irridescent hummingbirds, yellow sugar tit (Bananakeet) birds, the islands, the sky and sea all blending into one.  She loves her new kitchen panels as much as I enjoyed creating them for her!
