Mother of Exiles

Stained glass mosaic on clear glass with paper collage on the backside of the glass featuring photos from the history of U.S. immigration, beginning with a map of N. American tribes prior to colonization at the bottom, moving through Ellis Island and up to current events at the top. The photo images are beneath clear textured glass mosaic, and are therefore slightly obscured so the image of the Statue of Liberty is the main focal point.
