Celestial Transom

This is a custom commission for a private client in Florence, OR. It's a glass-on-glass mosaic transom, made of hand-cut stained glass glued to tempered glass. The client installed the project, which is upside down on one side. The design should be continuous through the center. But no one will notice unless I keep pointing it out. The design is abstracted in my favorite style of flowing, intersecting lines with floating orbs cutting through. To me, it looks celestial, like planets and flowing energy, reminiscent of images we see from outer space.
