This is Snowflake #2 from “The Magic of Snowflakes II” by Deverie Wood. It is one of the largest snowflakes and was a gift for my boyfriend. I chose the glass to enhance the frost and ice effect of winter. I also used Armour Etch on the centers of all bevels. I liked the 3-dimensional effect that it gave to the piece. I used opper reinforcing strips to strengthen the attachment points for hanging. Red and green jewels make the snowflake a wonderful Christmas decoration, but I think it will be up all year at my house. This snowflake was done with copper foil and 60/40 solder.
