I love the graceful movement of an octopus. I designed this piece from an image I saw on a tote bag. I used a bluish/purple "milk glass" from a broken antique window to accent the octopus' pink and lavender body. His tentacles are aligned with round, flat beads made of shell. What ultimately sets it off is a glossy background of textured, black/blue stained glass. The wooden panel is inlaid in an aluminum frame and seems to pull you directly into the image.
