Flamingo

This is from the pattern in the pattern book "Sidelights, Fanlights and Transoms" by Ed Sibbett Jr. (pg. 7).  It measures 9" x 27".

It is a companion piece to my Great Blue Heron panel (posted separately), and it was another challenging project for a relative beginner to stained glass crafting at the time.  And, the water in this panel proved to be an additional challenge - it was initially cut from different glass, but in the end I wasn't crazy about it so I recut it using the same glass used for the water in the Heron panel.  Nothing like giving yourself more work to stretch out a project!
