Pebble Bowl: Fused Glass Bowl

I cut three different colors of transparent blue glass into random shapes and arranged them in a loose mosaic-like fashion with a higher concentration of darker blue on one side and a higher concentration of lighter blue on the other side. I then inserted random shapes of clear iridescent glass to give the piece a little extra sparkle when the sun shines through it. I wanted to keep space between the pieces so they would fuse into the base glass and create smoother shapes that looked like pebbles. After fusing it, I slumped the piece using a bowl mold. This piece is great to place on a table when the sun shines as the colors then reflect on the table.
