Shield of Aesir

This is my 73rd panel created since starting stained glass creations. It is 22.5" in diameter and incorporates 298 pieces of glass including 13 3/4" square bevels. The border was created with granite, english muffle and hammered glass and the interior pattern was created with mostly waterglass and some clear seedy glass. It is framed with 3/8" zinc, black patina applied and two scroll hooks for display. Each piece of glass in this creation is hand cleaned and polished of course.
