Bamboo & Happiness Panel

As you can probably tell from my work I like to make detailed projects.  This panel is no exception with over 300 pieces of glass.  I really pushed the borders with the size of this using only copper foiled stained glass.  The panel is 2 foot by 2 foot.

The Chinese character in the center is for happiness (I made this for my wife, who I'm glad to say is still happy with me :-).  The colors are also symbolic on this.  The happiness character is surrounded by red and yellow, which are the two most desirable colors in China.  The bamboo is of course another symbolic detail on this panel.
