Daisy Trivet

This project uses a glass mirror trivet as the substrate.  Glass pieces were applied to the mirror with Weldbond glue.  Used a cardboard template to create the handcut petals and used my glass grinder to smooth the edges.  Painters tape was placed around the edges of the trivet as a guide for fitting the glass and applying the grey grout. Left the edges ungrouted for a shiny look.  This was a gift for my beloved sister to match a mosaic table she purchased.
