Snow and Fir Tree Glass on Applique on Glass Block

I did this for the Christmas holidays though it could be used other than the holidays.  My first try at applique (glass on glass).  Paritally opal and part transparent glass.and then I put tissue and fairy lights in the block so there was quite a bit of light showing next to and behind the tree.  Quite pleased with the results and it was a fairly quick project.
