Enameled Fused Glass Cat Peeking Over Table

This cute kitty is cut out of sheet glass, enameled (which requires several firings) and then tack fused onto a background that has also had enameled designs added.  A separate piece of blue irid in the foreground is sprinkled lightly with clear fine frit just to difuse the light . The glass artwork which is 6 x6 inces square is then mounted to a hand painted wooden panel that is the same size and 1.5 inches thick and ready to hang.
