Moonrise over the Mountains

Using my favorite Bullseye Glass (Cranberry Pink, Royal Blue, Spring Green & White), I found this perfect deep blue water glass from Oceanside and it just begged for a moonrise over the mountains using a copper foil overlay technique. I kept the moon silver and created gradations of black and grey on the black patina to suggest moonlight reflections on the mountains and shadows. I love how the colors change against a wall versus in the light.
