Radiance

This panel measures 42" x 21". I created this one-of-a-kind, custom designed panel as a gift for my sister. Her home has a window with the same measurements with an eight panel grid. I built the custom frame to mimic the existing window frame of which the panel will hang in front. The frame is built with framing stock (from Delphi, of course). The window was created in eight separate panels, and the frame built to encase each.  Round bevels give the illusion of sunspots. Panel hangers and curtain rings give strength for hanging and a nice look when hung from a decorative curtain rod. Much nicer than traditional chain. Finished with decorative soldering techniques to create "flames" on the sun and its rays. A copper patina completes the look. "Radiance" is my first completely original, custom design.
