Midnight silhouette

0 loves

This original design is of a majestic buck's silhouette against the moon..on the top of a hill in a pine forest.. My inspiration for this piece was my love of the moon...the night sky..the forest and the animals that dwell there. As in my other silhouettes in glass..I used my Gryphon wire saw to shape the buck in it's entirety. Challenging but rewarding. The beautiful background glass is Bullseye..as well as the black glass used for the deers' silhouette..and the moon..A green Spectrum glass was used for the pine trees and a multicolored textured glass is used for the hill area. It is framed in 1" oak and measures 20x24.
