Drawing Memories

This piece was inspired by one of my favorite childhood books, Draw Me a Star, by Eric Carle.  This book inspired in me a love of drawing and I spent many hours mastering the star drawing shown in the book. To make the star, I dug through all of the glass scraps and pieced them together in a way to mimic the multicolored, layered, brush strokes in the book.
