Aurora Borealis Transom Window

This original design is inspired by the mountains of the Northwest Territories, and the famed Aurora Borealis which lights them in mystical, magical colours and patterns throughout the night.  Built to fit into a transom window space in a post and beam home located right on the Atlantic Ocean, this window captures the memories of the homeowners, who lived in the Northwest Territories for over seven years.  Using Spectrum, Armstrong and Bullseye glass, the colours are strong and rich, and the shapes a combination of curves and geometrics -- to capture the rugged beauty of this magnificent part of the world.  The "dene" tent in the foreground was a special request for inclusion in this design.
