Kentile Floors

This was the view from the elevated F train overlooking Brooklyn. The Kentile Floor sign has been taken down, but it was the view for commuters for many years. The neon sign is made of transparent red glass with copper foil beneath it, so it appears illuminated when the light hits it just right. In the distance is Brooklyn Tech High School with its iconic radio tower. I spent the last 20 years of my teaching career working there. 12x12i n 2024
