This one of a kind piece of wearable art combines my two great passions ~ fused glass and wire work jewellery.
A curvy triangular pendant is suspended from a hand~crafted sterling silver and 14kt gold filled wire neckpiece.
The pendant was pieced together in plain colours of dichroic glass and then hand engraved with a stylized flower design. The glass has been left uncapped except for a row of little triangles so it has a beautiful satin sheen with just a touch of gloss. A lemon yellow cubic zirconia was fired into place as the finishing touch.
The neckpiece has been made using all cold connections, no solder is used in the construction at all.
The actual glass of the pendant measures 61mm across and is 49mm long. The neckpiece measures approximately 45cm.
