Dichroic Peacock Front Door

0 loves
Description:

This panel in all its various stages ends up as a front door.. So you can see it on the sidewalk in a picture and all but again it ends up in the first picture as a front door in Central City Colorado. The panel features a lot of dichroic glass - in fact 2 colors of dichroic glue chip in the tail. You can see in the installed door picture all the reflective areas which is the dichroic glass. Then look for those same areas in the other pictures. If you know dichroic then you know dichroic glass turns a myriad of colors and sometimes you would not be able to even find it in a picture. In real life it is breathtaking!

Keep in mind I am 87% colorblind and I make up for it  in the fact that I use my abilities of  "Synesthesia" which is called the mixing of senses. Color is seen and heard and the same with sounds. So in a way when I color a panel I am making music. Purples make sweet sounds to me so I do a lot of purple mix panels.

There are many dichroic glass bevels and jewels within this panel that I laminate in my shop. The panel was done in copper foil
