Winged Heart Suncatcher

Total fun (and frustration)! This wonderful suncatcher, inspired by the bevel cluster, was a challenge to finish. Why? Because I finished the outside edge with a Zinc channel !! Each curve had to have a separate, precision cut piece of zinc, which was then soldered in place and the entire outer edge finished with 63/37 lead solder. The result was wonderful. The suncatcher measures approx. 18" across.
