Frederick Douglass statuette

In celebration of America250, I have made a statuette version of the Rochester, NY 2018 Bicentennial Frederick Douglass in Gaffer cobalt crystal.  The design combines the pose of the 1899 monument of Douglass (that is the first dedicated to an African American in the US) and the hands of Ken Morris Jr, living descendant of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington.
