Fire

The individual parts of this martini glass were lovingly formed & fused separately, then tack fused together and coldworked to complete the piece. The base and stem accents were created from pot melts of transparent & opaque reds & oranges. The stem was formed from Red Opaque glass rods, and the martini bowl was formed using color gradients - cherry & orange glass powder-tinted amber glass - slumped through a drop-out mold. The glass is approx. 5" tall.
