Daydream Garden

I was invited to the Arboretum here in Hawaii. It inspired me to created Daydream Garden with my dichroic scrap. First I drew a sketch of a basic idea. Then I made little dots out of dichroic clear scrap. Then I cut out some shapes from larger scrap pieces and arranged them and tack fired them. Then I cut out small circles with my tile nipper, arranged them and some fine silver round pieces to look like the ferns I saw.  I also painted some gold tendrils on part of it. After firing these, I cut out some of the square shape so the shapes on the edges of the piece were more pronounced and "outside the box". Then I tack fused the whole thing to a black background.
