Remember When Life Was Simple

My Inspiration for this piece came from when I was a child and my tricycle was the most important thing in my life.When I rode it I felt like I was going a hundred miles an hour. This baby can't quite reach the pedals yet it dosen't matter, look at how proud.

I used an oxidized brass bezel for the pendant.The photo was resized and printed on my computer then cut to the size of the pendant. I then burned my photo to make it looked aged with a wood burning tool. The photo was then sealed and glued into the bezel. I added my DG3 Art Gel Glaze to seal and finish the design. I started the necklace with a Vintage tricycle brooch to which I added brass chain, this I used as my background, then I added my glazed pendant to finish off the piece.

Necklace is 20" in length and the brass bezel is 32mm.
