Heart of the Platte

This fused glass mosaic crane is over 6 feet tall and part of a public art project in Kearney, Nebraska.  The Dawn Rotary Club sponsors Cranes on Parade II as a method to raise funds for numerous local and international charities.  The original Cranes on Parade was created in 2003.  Heart of the Platte, along with 15 other crane designs by local artists, will be auctioned off at the Museum of Nebraska of Art starting at 7:30 pm on September 9, 2010.
