You can put glass on the floor with some precautions. Using pre-cut glass tiles is one recommendation and be aware of the kind of traffic that will be on the tiles. If using art glass for the tiles, be sure to grind the edges before setting them into the pattern to keep from getting cut when walking on the finnished floor.
