Durable firebrick is made of refractory ceramic - the same material used in lining kilns. Built to withstand temperatures up to 1600°F but designed to have low thermal conductivity. Use fire brick when firing silver jewelry clay projects using micro torch (sold separately). Light-weight brick also cuts easily with a saw. Use to dam glass, create a void in dimensional fused glass projects, and much more. Measures 9" long x 4-1/2" wide x 2-1/2" thick.
