This is a beautiful periwinkle blue, like the very top of the picture. My piece is all the same shade, not getting lighter like in the picture.

This is like a mixture of cathedral and opal glasses; that is, it is not transparent, but the light comes through so much, so that when I put it down on my desk next to the computer here, I can see vaguely a white piece of paper through the glass, but not clearly. Hard to explain. Sort of like a misty transparent.

I love it. The color is darker when fired. Bright and beautiful summer color.

This glass is pretty enough to use as is. I have used it as a sconce front, candle bridge and small dishes and it is - WOW!

Unlike the other reviewer, I did not have any problems cutting this glass. I do change the blade of my glass cutter as soon as I start having any problems. I have found that to be the biggest issue when running into cutting problems.

I've made a few holes with these and have not had any breakage.

You need a high-speed drill to take full advantage of these, although any drill will work - it will just take longer.
