Cuts very easily. True metallic bronze color glass with a wonderful appearance of depth and texture yet a completely smooth front surface. The back is painted and is surprisingly textured almost like glue chip. Beautiful in a mosaic.

Color and texture can vary between sheets of glass. Since the color/texture is only painted onto the back of the glass, it can flake off when grinding.

Use a fine grinding bit. Chips can be touched up easily with a black Sharpie or nail polish. All the colors of Van Gogh glass have black on the back.

I liked that this book left room for adding my own creative touches. Recording times and temperatures in the log that was provided has given me a useful reference for future projects.

I have always considered myself to be artistically challenged..this book has changed that forever! I have been able to make things I never thought possible! This book is very easy to follow with every possible question answered for you right there without having to call a help line or search a website for answers! I have gone from an artistic mess to a craft diva! I can't wait to give my one of a kind Christmas gifts this year. Amazing!!

this bit makes fast work of grinding larger surfaces or excess glass.

it is a coarse grinding bit so it needs a second grind with a standard or fine bit. it also chews the edges of dichro worse than a standard bit.

this bit is great at removing excess glass- it allows me to avoid using my ring saw to remove excess glass from edges of my fused glass.
