Handy Hangers - 5 Pair by mirett on February 22, 2009 5 stars
Pros
I love using handy hangers in all of my hung stained glass projects. They are easy to use and strong enough for any leaded or foiled product!
Cons
sometimes there is a residue on the handy hangers that makes tinning them a bit difficult at times.

I always had a hard time cutting straight cuts so I ordered a Glastar Cutter and it cut my time in half. Works great! I love it! Thanks!

Splash Shield With Bottle by katyokaty on February 21, 2009 4 stars
Pros
Always had trouble with a water source for grinding (not impressed with the little sponge business)and this works great. Used a clothes pin to anchor tubing to face shield over grinder and can now position dripping water exactly where I want it. Did have to think about what to set it on as my grinder is on a small, movable cart and there was not enough room for the wing span of this device. I put a dish drainer tray underneath the grinder and it is a perfect fit. If I grind for a long time, water pools at the edge that normally goes into the sink and I can put a papertowel there to keep it from dripping onto the floor.
Cons
As above, need to provide "counter" space large enough to accommodate the wingspan.

Beetle Bits Cutting System by DONIKI (top contributor) on February 21, 2009 4 stars
Pros
This tool seems to do everything except cut circles. It is precise. I am sure it will become an asset to my shop as soon as I figure it out.
Cons
I think it should have more directions. There are pieces with names but no real description of their uses. I was confused.
Other Thoughts
If only 12 X 12 glass sheets actually came cut square. I had to spend much time squaring them up. Until your glass choice is square, this nifty little item is helpless.

Ephrem's Bottle Cutter by Mark W on February 21, 2009 5 stars
Pros
This bottle cutter has been so much fun! I've never attempted anything like this, and it's made my projects much easier. For fatter bottles, you just turn the blade outward a little, and you still get a good score.
Cons
It does take a little practice to get a clean cut, but keep at it! It really didn't take me long to learn. TIP: practice cutting one bottle down about a half an inch at a time to prevent wasting space on multiple bottles.
