Product Reviews
Pros
Gorgeous glass in a great variety of colors at an excellent price. Great way to find out what type of dichroic glass you want to work with.
Cons
Very few straight lines
Other Thoughts
It's the best variety of dichroic scrap I've found. Jewelry artists can probably work with just these
Pros
Color is perfect. Not for the project I purchased it for but that's on me.

I should have bought a thicker Guage. But this would be excellent for wrapping hinge areas on projects.

I had some old bits that I wanted to use the life out of and this rejuvenated them quite well. They will still wear out eventually, but I feel like I've getting my money's worth!
Pros
We all get gaps every now and then, so this is nice to have for bridging them instead of fighting with the 60/40 melting back and forth through the piece.
Cons

Pros
Does the job and I feel confident when washing after I solder.
Cons
Other Thoughts
My lead levels are normal and I believe it's due to taking precautions like washing with D-Lead after every soldering session.
Pros
Sturdy with an attractive rich black color
Cons
The black coating scratches off a little too easily when opening and closing the links with pliers. I use black nail polish to cover the scratches where the silver shows through and it works out fine.

Pros
Cleaning your piece after soldering is a breeze with this product. A little goes a long way.
Cons
Other Thoughts
Have used this on hundreds of suncatchers and never worry about oxidation on the solder lines.
Pros
Very attractive design and enjoyable to use. Definitely elevates my experience in the studio. The built in light is wonderful! Cleaning is a breeze, which is refreshing. I have used it nearly every day for the past four months without any issues.
Cons
Emptying the water basin should be done carefully, as the water may slosh over the edge if you move too quickly.
Other Thoughts
This grinder is a game changer. I was hesitant to carve out a larger space in my small studio for the big footprint of this thing, as I work with suncatchers and felt the extra surface area unnecessary, but now I can't imagine going back. Overall, I am thrilled and will tell you it's definitely worth splurging on if you like nice things!
Pros
Includes items I wouldn't have thought to purchase as a beginner, like the hammer and the pattern shears
Cons
As with most kits, there are some items that are lower quality versions of their kind. That makes it hard to justify spending more money on a nicer tool that would duplicate what's already in your set.
Other Thoughts
Not knowing much about leading, this was a helpful buy to practice with before deciding what supplies you might want going forward!
Pros
Professional, nice in a kit
Cons
Smaller than expected but usable

Pros
Catches glass when ccutting, catches most of the water when grinding
Cons
A little heavy, somewhat challenging to take apart when you have multiple grids setup.
Other Thoughts
i love these grid, when I'm cutting for long periods of time it saves me having to brush off my table. I like that they catch the small pieces of glass.
They are also handy under the grinder. However, if the grinder leaks or gets too much spray water goes between the grids and pools. I put a shower curtain down to protect the wood on my table.
Pros
Lightweight, easy to use, saves your fingers
Cons
none
Other Thoughts
This is a must have item in my stained glass shop.
