The glass is nothing like the picture. The glass is a pale amber on the back side as expected. When held up to the light it is also pale amber. The surprise is that the iridized side without light through it is a light green and pink color. This would be a great choice for fairy wings and other uses like that.

If you are looking for pale amber and not prepared for the iridized side, this is not the glass for you

Great color. Has gun barrel bluish gray color that changes to a grayish blue color when held up to the light.

The difference in the color with or with out light has to be taken in to consideration in where you will use it.
