Long lasting, efficient tool to smooth and polish stained and fused glass projects. Use of the fine pad with water reduces the need to fire polish many fused pieces.

Very easy to use, and fast with consistent results....perfect circles. Smallest circles a bit harder but still perfect and requiring a minimum of edge grinding.

A cork" cutting table" surface keeps small glass pieces from slipping....my only suggestion to improve its usefulness.

Variety of colors, I got several reds and oranges, and for my purposes it was good to have opal and transparent in what pack, that way I can try out different things and then make a bigger purchase of what I really need.

The lighter transparent stringers are hard to tell apart. Use a light table and double check your work or you could be in for a surprise.

You have to remember that white will show up as clear on the glass. I usually use white or off white glass under the color slides. Also, to avoid bubbles in your picture, it is really important to let it dry COMPLETELY before baking.

The iron is square. Delphi should provide the diameter of the iron used to help user decide the size of piece it could hold.

The legs are about 2 1/4" from the table surface and your glass will sit about 2 1/2" of table surface. All sizes except the 6" have the same length of legs. Delphi could also provide those dimensions.

This iron stand is a good value for the money. The welds are smooth and well connected. The coating seems durable. They travel to my shows, but I keep them wrapped separate to minimize scratching. Stability wise, it can hold a piece much larger than it's measurements. The iron is square and is about 3/8" in diameter making it sturdy. It would be beneficial if Delphi would provide the exact diameter of the iron itself in all the descriptions as it makes a difference in the piece that is set on it. Slight possibility of seeing the touch point if the glass is light opaque.

Sits flat on surface. Also is even across if your glass is square. Your glass sits about 2 1/2" off table surface when on the stand. Could be important if your piece is odd shaped and dips down irregularly and is not straight across. (Hard to describe.)
