Pros
I have had this cutter for almost 20 years and have never replaced the cutting wheel. I recently purchased a second one, so I could teach a friend.

Other Thoughts
Pros
makes feet for bowls really nicely, slumps beautifully, makes elegant and fancy looking items, but easily
Cons
If you're not careful with centering, the foot can be off, with a lip on one side
Other Thoughts
I love this mold. Absolutely love it. I used it with my 6" drop ring to make candy dishes, and they turn out beautiful.
Pros
Good size, takes kiln wash well, like the recessed edge on the inner part
Cons
opening could be larger
Other Thoughts
I use this in conjunction with the 6" foot drape mold to make candy dishes, and I love it. My only complaint is that the opening could be a little bigger, it makes for a smallish dish. Still, I like it quite a bit, and it's easy to use
Pros
I love this tool. It makes the foil adhere tightly to the glass. I also use it to smooth down foil on nuggets.
Cons
None

Pros
Much faster than hardware store glass drill bits, stays sharper.
Cons
The bit tends to walk if you don't have a drill press.
Other Thoughts
I've drilled at least 50 holes with the first drill bit, and it has not discernibly dulled.
Pros
Much faster and easier than going out to the grinder. Just keep a bucket of water handy to dip the pad.
Cons
Other Thoughts
Mine has had two years of heavy use, and the diamond-coated sheeting is finally breaking up and coming away from the pad. It would probably have lasted even longer if I were more careful when grinding corners.
Pros
Great for preventing and reversing devitrification
Cons
Other Thoughts
I usually use this stuff on devit-prone areas, and my work comes out great every time.
Pros
I loved this mold! I had so many creative ideas with this mold.
Cons
I used it about 20 times then it cracked and broke in half when I took it out for it's last firing. :( Now I have to buy another one.
Other Thoughts
Pros
quick grinding
very little water needed
easy to clean
Cons
very expensive bits
throws dust around
Other Thoughts
I am very happy with this grinder even tho it has a few faults-what doesn't?
Pros
Has good texture. I used Boron mr 97 with it so I would not loose detai;.
Cons
Other Thoughts
Pros
The finished product has a very interesting textural finish.
Cons
What ever you do make sure it does not get wet because that removes the fine coating. So rough edges must be smoothed without using your grinder. Very expensive glass.
Other Thoughts
I made a clock with a black backing and it looks like a beautiful antique.
Pros
This is easy to cut and a beautiful glass. Looks a lot like GNA but much cheaper. I have been very happy this this glass
Cons
None.
Other Thoughts
Pros
Beautiful results with this and many possibilities with various backing glasses used.
Cons
Does chip gold or other overlay color off during cutting or grinding. Use extremely gentle touch. Do not try to clean off unfused with harsh methods
Other Thoughts
Can fix minimal damage to chipped off areas using Glass line metallic gold fusible paint prior to firing
Pros
Very helpful for beginners. Using one of the patterns to make my first piece. We'll see how it turns out. Serveral interesting patterns in the book that I would like to try.
