Used with the Dichoric pre-cut ovals. Fusing left rough areas ranging from a small edge, to a 1/4". I have been told that this is due to the Dichor heating at different speeds due to the different colors on each piece. They recommend bringing up glass slowly and longer to avoid this issue.

The stand is great - saves on wear and tear of your back! The stand which comes with the kiln does raise it off the floor but not nearly enough and that stand does not roll. The wheels, which can be locked, makes it much easier to move the kiln away from a wall, sweep under it and so forth. This is a big kiln and weighs a ton - the stand makes it so much easier to move!

Pros
You can get the pattern bar out of the mold which is not so with the rectangle shaped one.. This is a quick alternative to making a pattern bar without using fiber products. Use plenty of release. It is a bit more challenging to use the triangular pieces in a design for a bowl or plate unless you are pretty accurate in slicing with a tile saw.

This came in a glass pack so I didn't order it specificly. But I do love the color when it is backlit well. It is just very very dark. This would be perfect for lamp making. Beautiful green color once lit from behind.

It was not as bright and solid colored as shown. It didn't work for what I orderd it for but it came in handy for another piece I was doing. That happens sometimes. It's hard to get the perfect picture of a color of glass.

I would call this one more of an orange and red instead of a yellow and red. But then that might just be the piece I received. Stipple cuts beautifully!

Just received two pieces of this glass and I love it. It is a bit darker than the picture depicts. But I took that into account and am happy with the color.

The variation in darkness and lightness is just perfect to show depth needed in nature scenes. I will be using in pine trees and leaves and it will work great.
